Well, I decided to chew this gum, so I plopped it right into my open mouth and began to move my jaw up and down. Mmmmmm, blueberry flavored. I realized that this gum wasn’t chewing gum… it was bubblegum! I guess you can realize what happened next.
I started blowing bubble after bubble, with each one bigger then the next. After a while, I started getting bored of just blowing and popping my bubbles, so I tried to see how long I was able to keep my bubbles from popping.
I felt a funny little tingling feeling in my feet, so I looked down. Aaaaaaaahhhhhh! I was twenty feet off the ground! Nobody seemed to notice that I was up here, and I couldn’t call for help, so I started waving my arms up and down like crazy…bad idea. Pretty soon I was thirty feet above the ground, and still nobody had noticed me.
I looked down again. Why hadn’t I thought about it before? There was a little pond right next to the playground, and the wind had taken me right to it! I popped my bubble. SPLASH!! I fell into the middle of that pond. They had to have noticed that! I thought as I swam to the waters edge. I pulled myself out of the water and when I was all dried up, asked my mom if she had seen me almost fall to my doom. Do you want to know the answer she gave me? I’ll tell you:
“Oh sweetie, you have such an amazing imagination.”! I mean seriously? Who doesn’t believe their kids when they tell their parents something?!
